A verified archaeological item: authentic soil from the Temple Mount, removed in rare and unrepeatable circumstances during unauthorized construction work in 1999. The soil was later rescued and scientifically sifted by licensed Israeli archaeologists through the Temple Mount Sifting Project.

In 2004, two leading Israeli archaeologists, Dr. Gabriel Barkay and Zachi Dvira, launched the Temple Mount Sifting Project to rescue and study the soil. Since then, hundreds of thousands of volunteers have helped sift it, uncovering over half a million archaeological finds.
