Our mission is to Make Him Known in our community, within the USA, and throughout the world by designing, manufacturing, and distributing ‘Gifts of Eternal Value.’ We seek to spread the Gospel and help point people to God in their daily lives, through collaboration with fellow believers, stores, and non-profits.
Swanson Christian Products was founded by Clifford E. Swanson in 1935 in Pennsylvania. Initially, the business sold printed mottos, gifts, and wooden altar ware with Deuteronomy 6:6-9 in mind. Clifford and his wife Lucille ran the business while raising their six children, who also helped with the business from a young age.
In 1963, Clifford’s youngest son, Joseph, purchased the business and moved it to Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Today, Swanson Christian Products is managed by the third generation of the Swanson family: Carmel and Adam!
The company’s purpose from the start has been to make God’s name Known starting in the family and then to the world through its products.

Swanson Christian Products is a part of Swanson Companies in Middle Tennessee which includes four generations and multiple businesses from real estate and construction to clay earrings!
SCP is also a member of the Christian Retail Association.

Carmel gives her heart and daily life for this mission to make the name of God known and share the Gospel through products of eternal value. She has two children, one of which is the accounting manager in Swanson Christian Products! In her free time she is probably crafting something or outside on the farm!
